Way Forward Chairman

The Way Forward Committee are interested Lionesses, who meet to try to move the movement forward. A number of things have been achieved in the last few years:--

The Lioness Manual -- under revision at present

The Introduction of Hospital Packs – a good idea moved forward

The Production of a Publicity leaflet – up for revision

The Corporate Image - a Lioness pin (see home page)

Lioness Awareness Week held each year in April. Check out the Activities Calendar to find out what clubs have planned for that week.

These are just a few examples.

Way Forward meetings

All Lionesses are welcome at these meetings, which are held at MD Lions Headquarters, Birmingham starting at 10.00a.m. We need new, fresh ideas to help us to move our organisation forward in 2010 and beyond. We need to be up-to-date and relevant to a younger generation if we wish to attract new members.

That leads to my other job---

Membership officer

My job is to encourage the clubs to gain new members whilst retaining the present members. I enjoy visiting clubs for charters, social clubs and fund raising activities so that I can meet our members. This allows me to listen to ideas and suggestions from all Lionesses.
