Annual Conference 2010

Friday – Sunday 19th – 21st February 2010

The Advisory Body & Dursley Lioness Club are proud to be hosting Conference 2010 at the Ramada Hotel and Country Club, Matson Lane, Robinswood Hill, Gloucester where you are guaranteed a weekend to remember with fun and fellowship throughout. 

 Set in 240 acres of grounds the hotel has all the facilities you would expect including the Arts Bar and Restaurant, full leisure facilities, 18 hole golf course and for those who are feeling a little adventurous it even has a Ski and Snowboarding Centre!

Conference weekend starts with an informal buffet meal with a theme of ‘A night at the Races’ - So you can get out your hat, put on your glad rags and be a winner at the ‘Pig Racing’ . . . . but don’t forget you have to bet on the right Pig to win! 

Our Lioness Clubs Chairman, Phyllis, has a full day of business planned for Saturday when we hope you will join in the discussions and debate and remember we will be voting for the next Multiple District 105 Lioness Clubs Chairman, Deputy Chairman and Treasurer.  The business day will finish off with Guest Speaker Susan Marshfield talking about ‘A bit of This and That!’

On Saturday evening there will be the traditional dinner and disco with music from ‘Paul Murphy – Roaring Success Disco’ who, due to popular demand, has agreed to travel down from Birmingham.  (Paul provided the disco at Conference 2005, 2006 and 2007).

Sunday morning is the final business session including the Open Forum when you can find out the answers to all those questions you’ve always wanted to ask but never had the opportunity – the time to put your Top Table guests to the test and see if they have all the answers!   . . . .  and by the time you go home you will have found out where you will be going for Conference 2011.
